Yeah, so mock meet.

Squat: final warmup of 180kg felt tasty so went straight to 200kg. Just missed it, as close/closer that the 192.5kg at the mini meet.
Bench:115kg felt real good, went straight to pb of 122.5kg, not too easy but didn't have to kill myself to get it up
Deadlift:200kg felt nice again so went straight to pb of 222.5kg. Probably easier than the bench so maybe 225kg was there.


All in all, pretty pleased. If I had gotten that 200kg it would have been a 30kg total pb which would have been jokes. I'm going to have a go at another mock meet on Friday to some degree or another and see what happens with the squat. I've got videos of the missed squat and the pull so I will put them up when I get a chance.

Since I have been looking at them recently I thought I might as well stick it up here, these are the records for my current weight category:

Yeah the hope is to get them next year and then either move up to the 93kg class or stay in the 83kg and upset some people by breaking them again the next year :D

Ha ha, skinny runt :p.

Yeah the long term goal is worlds and for that there is almost no chance that I can be in the 83s, I'm too tall :p. I may even need to be in the 105s although that isn't very likely.

The Junior World Records for the 93kg class are:
Squat: 280.0
Bench: 195.0
Deadlift: 295.0
Total: 735.0

So maybe in 3 years time if I am lucky I will have a few of those :p.

I'm 5'9" on a good day :p.

It's also about maximising the best time for growth (now) that is another reason I am aiming a little high right at this point in time.

Long time no update.

Nothing new since last update. Last Friday's squats didn't happen, was out coaching from 5am to 7pm so too tired to get anything good done. Was due for another mock meet this week so I have decided to do it on Friday. Monday did some singles at 80-90%, got up to 180, 115, 210 all felt really nice, deads were a little slow but still felt real nice.

Today was my deload day training. Everything at 50% bar weight but with chains and 60 sec rest.

Alright then Stoodles, just for you :p

I really should have been updating this but I just got a little lazy. I started a new cycle 2 weeks ago so I have been chugging away with the high volume phase but this time I have decided to do this block beltless so that has been a nice difficulty multiplier.

I can't be bothered to put up all of the sessions from the last two weeks, that would take way too long and wouldn't be very interesting because there haven't any PBs either, well every squat and deadlift has been a PB because I have never done a beltless block before.

Luckily enough I videoed nearly all of the session on Friday so here you go :):


High bar squats, I did 2x6 and the last set was 10 rep and I did 3x8 of 140kg on RDL in total.

Haha, that did amuse me. He was overly happy that his posing would be on the internet. Such a *******.

I'm actually really pleased with the deadlift. All time PB for 5 is 195, so I am only 7.5kg off beltless and working very sub-maximally.
