In the following format.

GPU Make & Model: [eg Asus 4870]

Before idle: [insert here]
Before load: [insert here]

---

Fan speed: [insert here]
After idle: [insert here]
After load: [insert here]

If you have tried multiple fan speeds, feel free to post multiple results.

Fan speed: 30
After idle: 63
After load: 0

When I loaded GPU-Z I saw the idle temp was hovering around 80 degrees. I used the Catalyst hack to set fan speed to 30% and the idle temps dropped a good 20 degrees. At 30%, the fan is barely audible, but anything past that and it's easily the loudest thing in the case.

How did you do the 'Catalyst hack' to set the fan speed?

Fan speed: 30% (~1710 RPM)
After idle: 71C
After load: - (need to run more like 60-80% fan speed)

^^ This.

Love the card, loathe the fan.

Where is the fan fix?

Also how do I find ATi drivers for the 4870 they only have 3870 on the website :s

GPU Make & Model: Sapphire 4780 Stock.

Fan speed: Auto 999 RPM
Before idle: 75 ish
Fan speed: Auto 1999 RPM

Fan speed: 35% 2340 RPM
After idle: 54
After load: 77

Noise I cant tell if its my GPU or another fan going. So Im not worried about noise at this speed.

The fan is simply a POS, worse than the 2900XT's fan even though at full throttle its not as loud, allthough I think I will be happy with the performance of this card so I'll let it be happy and play my games with the music LOUD, I'll let it get up to about 95-100degrees untill I turn it up anymore.
