Last time I built a pc was over 2 years ago and It consisted of the following:

A64 3500+
Galaxy 6800GT
1GB Geil Ram
Asus A8V Deluxe

This bundle is now leaving me to go to a new home :( For less than a fraction of £800+ I paid :(

Now I'm on a strict budget and my requirements are the following:

I'm a gamer and I want 2GB of Ram. I also want a quiet graphics that will last me a while like my legendary 6800GT, must have Dual DVI and handle games such as CSS & Company of heroes at widescreen res with AA + AF.

I'm trying to cram in a E6600 but I'm having difficulty meeting all my requirements for £500.

Could anyone please care to help me out?

don't bother with *** 6400 get a 6300 and overclock it its worth it ;)

A 6300, Gigabyte DS3, Decent cooler 2gb Geil C4 ram and a OCUK 7900 gs

Bargin Deal.... :D

same spec as mine nearly....

i just got a asus P5B - Just waiting for the Gigabyte 680i mobo

It annoys me how RAM costs so much. I need 2GB of RAM but it would have to be DDR and 2X1GB. £170 or whatever is ridiculous just for RAM, so forget that.

I think this is a better spec for the money. 6300 with a cpu cooler so you can overclock it.

The 1950 pro is far better than the 7900gs and the S3 is the same as the DS3 except it won't last 6 years. But you won't have it that long anyway!
