Quidco is an online discount service that you can sign up to get money back on purchases. Google it!

He ordered it through a VAT registered business, therefore the MacBook Pro contributes to the business and will be utilised for business work, such that the VAT can be legitimately claimed back. ;)

it not that bad owning an apple its always good to have experience in different operating systems im thinking of getting a cheap mac book off ebay just to learn the os

my mates a bit of a mac freak he's only just finished paying off his Imac and is looking into getting a macbook pro

Nice :D

With 2 GB it will fly. 4GB may not offer much in terms of speed until you start loading big stuff in. It doesn't tend to feel as if it suffers from 2GB like Vista does.

Then I really would like 8 or 16GB.. see EVH's sig every time I read threads is really starting to make me think.. but I will wait until we have 6 cores x 2 ;)

Er yeah, mr vat man. Strictly business use only :o.

:p

I'm literally on the cusp! I'd decided to wait - but they're soooo pretty and now I want one!

I've pretty much decided that I'm going for the 2.5/15" version, but the 17" would be nice too.... decisions decisions!!

Arg.. gotta sell my macbook first though! :)

sell your Macbook after. You'll definitely be able to get rid of it, and you'll get your MBP sooner. Get an overdraft.

To be fair to me, I didn't even try to convince platypus to buy his, he just came on MSN one day and was like "I bought an MBP, you're to blame". Outrageous
