Don't ever buy Apple Texas Hold'em for iPhone or iPod Touch!

It will mess up your iTunes, bought it on the App store, now iTunes crashes whenever it tries to back up the game from the phone. Now iTunes won't recognise my iPhone and the only way to get it to work again is to reinstall it. Not happy, and this is a common problem by looking around.

EDIT: now reinstalling it hasn't helped either. Might just be iTunes 8, may go down to 7.7 and see if that makes a difference.

I've got it on both my iPod touch and my iPhone and not had this problem. I was on 7.x when I first got it and now I'm on the latest version of iTunes and it's fine *touches wood*

Oh and three other guys at work have it on their iPhones as well, no reported problems. Might even be four of them.

It seems like the problem occurs when you buy it and download it on the phone. If you buy it on your computer then transfer it then you are fine.

I had all sort of wierd problems with iTunes & iPhone. Recently (since 2.1) it had stopped the sync with "AddressBook cancelled the sync". Turns out that the address book DB on the phone had the wrong permission! LUCKILY my phone is jailbroken so I could fix it, but I really wonder how Joe User copes with all that.

Sorted, had to downgrade to 7.7 in the end and then sync and it transferred fine. Nightmare. Usually never have problems in that department!
