I just woke up today to be greeted with a letter from AOL(My ISP) and they said something along the lines of,

"You have been a great customer over the years(6 infact) so we are upgrading your broadband from 4MB to 15MB free of charge"

Supposedly they tested my line and that is what i can get.

They also said to phone up and if the wireless router i am using is crap(lol i have a Netgear DG834PN) they will send me a new one. Don't know why they said that.

The reason for the increase in speed according to the letter is they have came into contact with new technology or something.

So anyway, 15MB seems abit farfecthed. I was thinking maybe 8 but 15!

Is this a ploy by AOL to keep customers or something?
