Don't like having days off

Hi all, anyone else not really like having days off of work? Maybe it's a sign that I'm a sad bar steward but this is the only day off I have from work in a run of 10 days and I am bored stiff just sitting around waiting to go back to work as I have nothing to do. I wake up, have breakfast, sit here refreshing facebook all day until it is night time so that I can go to bed and wake up for work.

I work lots of overtime on my rest days to take up the time but it's not always available. I work shift work and work 3 out of 5 weekends as well as partly compressed hours meaning that I get quite a bit of time off.

I havn't had a girlfriend for about 18 months now after my long term girlfriend from school (I'm 24 now) and don't seem to be interested in girls or anything at all really, I tend to avoid them for some reason as I can't be bothered with the whole dating thing!

I earn quite good money however still live with parents in north London (my first property purchase just fell through) and only go out with mates about once every 2 months drinking, I spend next to no money. I don't live near a gym otherwise I would join to kill some time.

Also I have 8 weeks of annual leave and lieu days I have to take at some point! Though they will prob let me carry over 3 of those weeks.

Anyone else in a similar boat?

I work from home during the Uni breaks, I get bored whatver I'm doing - probably because your in the same surroudning day in day out.

Next year's Uni summer break I will probs go back to being employed, I find self-employment quite depressive (unless you make lots of money and your in a nice office, of which I am not... lol)

I think you need a hobby, something like photography can be rewarding and time consuming.

I love days off, every now and again I organise with some mates that we all take a random mid week day off and go to Alton Towers or something similar. Brilliant with no queues for rides :D

I can find so many things to do on a day off that there isn’t enough time in the day to do them all.

Get into some music, get a few simpsons dvds and then get some sort of hobby. People like it when you have something random to talk about and be interested in.... apparently at least

Get a life tbh

I'm a sad barsteward but even I can find something to do with someone most days.

I could quite happily not work for a living if money wasn't an issue. More than enough to do to keep myself occupied.
