Don't **** with angle grinders...

These are photos I've taken over the past few days, nothing too gory I hope.

So.. take one 22 year old, some weld that needed grinding flat.. an angle grinder.. a grinding disc too big for said angle grinder.. and the removal of the safety guard (to allow the oversize disc )

Yes, I'm an idiot.

It will be two weeks (this wednesday) that I did this. The last pic is of it now, it still hasn't healed fully.

So OcUK motors.. don't let your finger come into contact with a grinding device of any sort

I'm an idiot, I only learn once I've injured myself... I managed to severely burn my right arm under my elbow last year in a welding accident.

Danza, our mechanic had a grinder bite into something he was grinding under a truck in the pit one day. The grinder kicked back and hit hit across the nose leaving a nasty gash that had to be glued up at hospital, fortunately the blade hadn't hit him, just the grinder!

and yes Grudas, it was touch and go for a few mins...

Yes it looks like a scratch, what you can't see is how deep the middle is. It hurts like **** if I knock my finger and bleeds and oozes stuff out randomly

Yes it could have been a lot, lot worse. According to google a disc shattering has killed people before! Camera is crap as it's my phone.
