You see a beautiful 24" Dell 2407 sitting on a clients desk and it's

running at 800x600 resolution

And you ask "why?" and the answer comes back:

I can't read the small text!

Get an eyetest, reading glasses or a CRT, but don't defile a beautiful thing by running it at that res!

Display Properties->Appearance->Font Size...

They still whine.... Trust me...

They don't know how to use Large Fonts and custom dpi settings on higher resolutions, obviously.....

I bet they are running dual-8800's in SLI as well ?

It's off an 845G or 945G iirc. Embedded graphics...
