Don't you guys just hate waiting for your new stuff to arrive? I have just bought a new mouse and it is going to take 5 days to arrive and.....the wait is sooooo anoying lol :D I have a friend who had to wait 2 weeks for his sony HD camcorder to come and those 2 weeks were agony for him :D Anyone else had painful waits?
 
Yes, but unfortunatly there is nore decent stores we can buy these things from so we must wait.
 
You don't know how lucky you are and I am still amazed I can order something online today and it could be here tomorrow or tuesday.
Before the internet everything was 21 days or longer and once I had to wait 2 years for something to arrive.

I had to wait 46 days for a graphics card and 36 days for a motherboard. So get on with your life and live with it. :p
 
pfff 5 days ... I once pre-ordered a DVD boxset which was due out 2 months after I ordered it .... and then, come the release date, it was delayed for almost 18 months ....

That was a wait ....
 
a few days for anything bought in the UK, but with my hookah stuff it always takes about two weeks and I spend the whole time panicking about customs.

I just got 2.5 kilos of tobacco delivered, and it got stuck in customs, I got onto them and was told I had a customs charge, and **** my pants. They hadn't opened it though, just looked at the value stated on the box and charged me VAT + Admin, came to less than £16. If they'd opened it up it would have been about £100.
 
Just been two weeks without internet waiting for the phone line to be repaired. That sucked. :o

i had to wait two months for some equipment for my pellet gun to arrive... that was painful.

waiting for my kindle at the moment :(

i want my kindle :'(

It was a MTR 16:2 mixing desk.

At the same time I had put a £200 deposite on an 8 track recording machine called the Cutec Octette.
It used a revised head in Betamax video recorder and it would record 8 seperate music tracks.
I kept getting updates on it but when the mixer finally arrived I started to get impatient and rang Cutec.
They told me the Octette was only a mock up picture and their designs had failed so I could have my money back.
I ended up buying a Fostex A8 reel to reel instead.
I also waited 15 months for a Yamaha DX7 synthesizer and loads of other stuff too.
 
Yup I have to say I do hate waiting for stuff...on the other hand it is a bit more exciting when something arrives via the delivery guy than just buying it in a shop.

Currently waiting for a Kindle *sigh* Should only be another week or so.
