you are accused of hacking on a game online

just shows that you are very good at it :D

(unless you actually hack ;) )
 
I love it, because often I will kill somebody in Battlefield 2 and they will immediately accuse me of hacking. At which point I advise them to check my 6 kills 19 deaths on the scoreboard and they become the laughing stock of the server for being "pwned" by someone who isn't really any good at all.
 
It does give you a warm feeling inside when you're called a hax. It is also very funny when you accuse someone else of being hax and watch them have a big rant.

Gets a bit of a pain when you get kicked as many times as me though.
Last time i looked my kicks were up to 170 summit :eek:
I pride myself on my K/D and play accordingly. Kill admin, clan or 3 dudes in a row and you are a cheat :rolleyes:

Just checked its 161 kicks and 9 bans.
 
Personally i think people are kicked as a lot of server admins want all the good players of the server so they can play against nubs like me all day kicking my ass all over the maps so then they can measure each others epeen after it.

If someone is faced with a good player who they cannot kill, easiest way to beat them is remove them = Kick / Ban :(
 
If you get 6 kills in Quake it's MONSTER KILL
If you get 6 kills in Unreal Tournament it's GODLIKE
If you get 6 kills in Counter Strike it's "kicked by server".

Without wanting to float my own boat.. the novelty of it passed a long time ago for me and now it's just pure annoyance. Last night for example I had a game of CS(1.6) for the first time in 10months+ and like I always seem to do after a 'break', played really well .. 5mins into the game banned.

Happens a hell of a lot in CoD2 which is a bummer because there aren't as many servers to choose from.
 
There was a complete novice idiot who somehow was given RCON to the Barrysworld Quakeworld servers a while back. Anyway, I was playing FFA and decimating the opposition as usual, a couple of ex-clanmates were on there accusing me of using a Bot, and he believed them, kicking me from the server. Without even spectating me!

However, I had the foresight to see this coming and started recording a demo when the accusations of cheating started. So later that day I posted the demo on the BW forums, exposing the admin as being incompetant, resulting him getting a public dressing down from CeNoBiTe, who was the main QW liason person.

At the end of the day, getting kicked from an FFA server isn't the end of the world, but revenge was sweet :)
 
Happened to me and my friend a lot when we played Gunbound, of course we laughed, etc etc.

Then we went to another game, but went back to Gunbound briefly.. and it was my turn to accuse someone of hacking ><

They probably weren't, but we were crap after returning which is why they seemed unbelievably good.
 
The thing is.. if you know what you are looking for.. it's blatant when someone is cheating, even if they are really good at hiding it.

I've admin'd leagues for CS, one or two of them quite 'high skilled' and there were always accusations because some of those lads were seriously talented at the game, yet still it was very easy to see if anyone was cheating. The most common accusation is wallhacking but someone with a decent set of cans on, and pretty much common sense doesn't always need to see the opposition in order to shoot them.

yeah ive been banned before for killing admin 5 times in a row. its not my fault im better than them :o
 
it gets boring after a while, some even end up perma banning you because there must be some way to remove hacks from a demo that you've recorded. people who THINK they can play cs annoyed me, most couldnt.
 
Got kicked/Banned from CS when I got riddled with bullets, had barely any health left and killed the dude who shot me - wasnt my fault I knew how to duck, then pop up and return fire!

got booted from BF2 a lot usually due to the automatic kick when you TK - moral of the story is gont get in the way of a heavy machine gun!
 
Use to happen a lot to me on Quake 4, and I'm not even that good. You'd get on a streak, get a load of trash talk from the moron you keep killing then they'd call a vote to kick you! Pathetic!
 
Nah it's best when after getting a war off cod2.wars on irc you end up against some low skill foreigners who are mixing when the leader clearly asked for high skilled clans only and you beat them 19-1 or whatever on first map and they accuse you of cheating in some lingo we don't even understand. Kinda makes me feel abit harsh on them because they think they're high whne in reality they aren't even med.
 
i love getting acused of hacking, the best time ever tho was when i was a reg on a server and in the 2nd round on Dust 1 was CT, went through the tunnels to the big middle bit where everyone dies, with the TMP i got 2 kills and fired 2 bullets :D now that was satisfying, and they weren't reg's so they were going

"OMFG we are gonna report you to admin"
"gonna get your ass banned"

and then to add iceing to the cake an admin message came

"this is that said admin, STFU"

me and all the guys were cracking up over the voice comms,
 
What annoys me though is that the people that shout "hax0r, cheater" or whatever else are usually either 12 years old or are people that think they are amazing at the game when they are really crap at it.
 
I've only ever been called h4x0r once, which was on BF2 a while ago, after killing some guy about 4 or 5 times in a row:
