Can this be done?

I'd have thought so, but I'm sure a drift dvd I watched said u can't do it.

Presently in empty car park waiting for the low down. :p

Yeah, to my knowledge. Just I think you'd be more prone to "flicking out", as if one wheel loses grip, you're gonna have no power to hold it with, and it's just gonna do what it* wants :p

*At this point, hit the DSC button, and all will be well again

If I can do it in my scoob, I think you can do it too... dooo it...

You can do a donut without an LSD but it won't be very good. There is no progression, the car will break traction, slide out very quickly, and then just wheelspin. It doesn't look very impressive.

Even with an LSD some cars struggle to donut well.

This is a movie I did ages ago of my mate in an XR4i fitted with a Cosworth LSD. Gravel isn't the best surface for donuts I admit, but it still struggled.

Wet weather is better for donuts as there is less traction, but you run the risk of understeering too.

Had to get a rolling start, was tricky and ugly. did it but god damn I nearly died when inner wheel bit the road.

I managed it on a dry runway. Nice and easy - just turn DSC fully off (so you get the two lights up) and dump the clutch :p

Btw Merlin - 330s are great fun on the track :D
