Doom 2 - Lockdown Survival with Limited Internet

I was recently given some help here with my iMac so thought I'd contribute back to the forum here. Over lockdown I didn't have broadband and was limited to 4G, which as many of you probably know is awful for online gaming! So long BF4 (((( So I set about the task of finding a cool offline game. Civilisation was the top of my list! But also I went back, and then forward, in time to DOOM 2.... For those unaware Brutal Doom (or Project Brutality) offers a great new Doom 2 experience for old school gamers!!

I've pretty much worked my way through most of the WADS over lockdown and now I'm back at the Hell on Earth Starter Pack which is a good place to start...

My favourite WAD was probably Valiant.wad, it had a cool secret level which played The Final Countdown See 11:00 of this video (not modded Doom)...

Anyway if anyone here wants to get into Doom 2 again with the new (ish) brutal doom let me know and I can help you set it up if needed

I finished playing Doom 1 & 2 with Brutal Doom ages ago, but I still fire it up from time to time.

This thread has made me try out Project Brutality with the Maps of Chaos.

Nice, I prefer Brutal Doom as find it a bit more realistic, but Project Brutality has more options available. Glad someone enjoyed!
