Doom 3 / 1900XT glitch

Does anyone else get a weird flickering/tearing across the screen? Using Cat 6.5s and Vsync is on. Anyone got any suggestions on how to fix?

This just when u load up the game?, as the x1900 series runs at the 2d speed in windows and jumps to the 3d clock speed when a 3d application is loaded so it gives a weird flicker as it changes the speeds (does when i load up any game)

my x1800 does th e same thing, but i dont get tearing or flickering
