Has anyone got any idea how I enable anti-aliasing in Doom 3 ?

I've selected it to x16 and then apply and then restarted the game and check the settings and it always seams to turn its self off again !

Its not hardware as i'm running a x1900xt and sub 3gig opteron.

I've selected the ultra high settings also, Also is there any widescreen mods available for Doom 3 as I'm running an NEC 20wgx2 monitor and it'll look loads better if it was displaying a proper widescreen resolution rather than just stretching it.

Cheers

X1900xt doesn't support 16x anti aliasing afaik, try turning it to 4x to start. 16x aa on doom 3 would no dubt be unplayable anyway.

That's correct. ATI cards only support 2x, 4x and 6x AA. Nvida uses a different scale of measurement, it's no better or worse than ATI's anti aliasing.

For widescreen just use the following commands from the console:

r_customwidth x
r_customheight y
r_mode -1
vid_restart

...where x and y are the dimensions of your display.

I'll give it a go when I get home tonight, So I asume 1680x1050 will run ok then ?
