I just can't decide if to get it on Xbox360 or PC.

Does the PC version Support Xbox360 Controller ?

My PC spec is:
  1. Processor I7 2600 @ 3.4GHz
  2. Ram 8gigs
  3. Graphics GTX 560ti

So I'm sure my PC can run it ?
It's cheaper on PC as well.

But will the 360 version be less problematic and probably just look the same
graphics wise as PC anyway ?

I don't even see how the PC version is going to differ from the original apart from proper widescreen support and the extra levels. Surely the textures will be the same as there were high-res ones in the original.

I think theres some extra content such as the "lost mission" etc.
also free expansion pack and the original doom 1 and 2 included.
The engine is different "Rage".
It's ment to be more horror action than survival with the new tweaks.
So i suppose theres a few new things for everyone.

PC now has native 360 controller support, auto save system same as console version and as you say - widescreen support.

its also a steamworks title now, so maybe its got achievements now built into it like the console versions?

If you’ve never played the game before, got a decent PC then I’d remcommend the PC as it will have KB/mouse controls as well as 360 controls, higher resolutions and that alone should be enough.

If you’ve already got Doom III or played it years ago – don’t see the point myself.

I disagree there. I'll be getting on 360 as laptop is no good. I have great memories of the game, the Soul Cube is my favourite weapon of all time. :D
