Doom 3 Mouse problem

basically mouse is all over the place with my rig in sig, it's really jumpy and the game is unplayable due to the constant mouse jerking.

anyone know a fix for this

Just in Doom 3 or other games? I seem to remember something about disabling mouse acceleration or summin in Windows, but it was a lifetime ago! I have Doom 3 installed on my pc ATM, so I will take a look tomorrow for ya

Just in doom 3 everything else is fine.

Sorry I didn't get back sooner, clean forgot to be honest.

It will quite likely be down to mouse acceleration in Windows or whatever mouse driver you have. When I set Acceleration to max in Logitech SetPoint for my mx518, it does indeed make the game a bit twitchy. Combine that with quite a narrow FOV, reasonably fast Pointer Speed and BAM! Twitch city.

Wouldn't say it is unbearable though. Vertical Sync could well be a player in the odd "feel" you are getting too. I will be playing Doom 3 again soon so if I have any brainwaves I'll post them up. It really is a great game, underrated a bit imo
