not played it since ive isntalled my dual core setup
instead of reformating my PC, anybody reading this might have some clue to the problem?

Shutting down OpenGL subsystem
...wglMakeCurrent( NULL, NULL ): success
...deleting GL context: success
...releasing DC: success
...destroying window
...resetting display
...shutting down QGL
...unloading OpenGL DLL
thats what i get in that window when loading doom 3
