I have never really played it so i am now.

Im having issues with the game though.

It randomly locks up and freezes, it can lock up badly enough that i have to hit reset button? its ******* me off so much.

I am using 180.80 beta drivers.

I have tried to none beta drivers and its the same.

Some times the sound loops when it freezes also.

Can anybody help me with this?

My card is not overheating.

Sometimes i felt i should have just stuck with the PS3, pc just present problems.

I have not overclocking on.

I do have rivatuner though, the only thing i have adjusted is fan control to 45%

Card is very new it has hardly any dust in it.

PSU is 600 watt coolermaster.

Game fully patched.

a lot of games ive had few issues with before i reinstalled windows xp.

Neverwinter nights 2 seems to run fine.

Oblivion ran ok barring my system struggling to run it in certain places, i did however get wierd looking faces come up when running oblivion.

Ive been pc gaming for a number of years it was only recently i decided to buy and get back into i do not see how you think setting fan control to 45 would cause a problem when its given more air.

And my fan was not undervolted it was set to 33% default.

Now you putting words into my mouth did i just state to you that my fan speed was set to 33% default and that i put it up.

And if you had read a comment from a previous poster you would have notice ive had problems with drivers which is why i am using the beta drivers.

Ok i will try put it on to 100% and run the game.

Just tried that and same issue.

I check rivatuner and it states the core temp is at 43.

When i run ati tool to test for artifacts it was inbetween 55 to 60

Sounds good.

If you can, run something that will log your graphics card temperature to a text file (rivatuner may have an option for this but i've not used it in a while so I'm not sure). It would be useful to be able to see it in the event of a crash.

Also, have you ran memtest and Orthos to make sure your cpu/ram are stable?

I ran memtest for about half an hour and things seems fine, i will run orthos though.

I am not sure were to find the log.

Before i reinstalled windows xp i had bad problems with games.

games became blocky, like the cursor and menu windows.

Fear just turned into a blocky mess and then the pc became unstable.

Since reinstalling ive had that problem once with neverwinter nights 2 i went back to the driver which came with the cd, i will check it now.

Ok mate i run it for a few.

So ive letting that run, and i have running OCCT, i do not get orthos it seems complicated.

My cpu is not overclocked or anything.
