Anyone else receive an invite for the Doom 4 multiplayer alpha today?

Just had mine drop into my email, a steam key for the weekend 3rd December

Reading up on this, it seems like the beta entry is what we got with Wolfenstein, I think te alpha may be selection from signing up separately

I remember when the first doom came out, spent most of the time running agains all the walls pressing the space bar looking for secret areas.

God I hold so much affection for this game.

Still got the box of floppy discs someone gave us when we had our first pooter.

(the wife was doing an MBA with the OU. We had a modem the size of a shoebox and not ver much "conventional" memory )

hmm a little confused here...

I have DOOM Alpha pop up in the play list when you right click on the Steam system tray icon.

However no email and don't see it anywhere else?

Does this mean I have access or not does anyone know?

It was for Wolfenstein pre-orders only I think.

I got my Steam key from Ubi store and it was a pre-release key

Doom Alpha popped up.

The first DOOM alpha starts 5th December I believe.
