Looks promising but not to be picky. The second pic doesnt look right with the railing in the top right hand side. Neither does the metal steps on the bottom right.

^ agree , id have thought the steps would be stone , also the railing (maybe stone)

excellent work, will look forward to this, they were great games

and who bloody cares about stone this metal that ??

its still in development, i mean come on this is mod you have to give these guys some slack its a free total conversion.

As with all mods that are this ambitious, it's most likely we will either never see it completed, or it will be unplayable due to bugs and when released will look extremely old hat compared to what will be around at the time.

if I remember correctly theres no part of the doom3 engine that allows light level monitoring. IE the enemy seeing or not seeing someone depending if they are in shadows. a better one would be a splinter cell conversion :p

Could be great, and I'll check it out if/when it's completed.

But really, 3rd party total conversions just take so long they tend to peter out of existance before they're completed. I mean, look at black mesa source; that's been in development well over 3 years now, and they aren't anywhere near completion. Remaking an entire game in a new engine is a big job for a team of part-time programmers.

I think total remakes like this should be done in a style similar to that of the half life episodes. Where by they are released in parts. More often than not, the project takes too long and people lose interest.
