I was originally looking at the Infinity Quasar as I wasn't too sure if I had to time to build a watercooled rig (this will be my first watercooled build). However it looks like I might be taking some holiday soon so it gives me the perfect opportunity to crack on and do it myself if it all works out :)

Budget between £3,500 - £4,500ish.

I don't need any peripherals or monitors (will be buying 3 x new monitors when they get released).

I don't need any mass storage as I have a NAS solution already. I also have a Blu-ray writer and an OS which I can reuse. I was thinking of maybe a custom case too? Would love to hear your thoughts around this?

2 SSDs to run in RAID, SLI 780Ti's!

Some constructive comments on the above:

RAID SSDs is a total waste of time in my opinion. Better to buy a single larger capacity. In fact, a single 500GB SSD is plenty, anything else can live on platter based storage.

The rad space is right on the edge of the minimum you would want for SLI 780Tis and a 4770k. For this sort of money I would be looking at a fully loaded 900D.

Fans - You want static pressure fans for rads. So for Corsair that's the SP series. Can use AFs for case intake/exhaust.

Coolant - Don't bother with anything but Mayhems. Mayhems...end of :D

Fittings - BitsPower are lovely fittings, but bloody expensive. Could save some here by using something else.

Tubing - Fan of Primochill Advanced LRT personally. Tubing is tubing though!

GPUs - Is the KFA2 "Own Design" a reference PCB? If not, don't bother, not worth incompatibility with waterblocks. Would go for a reference cooler design from a respected manufacturer (Not that KFA2 is not, just be weary of the non reference design)

Seems like a nice build. But, you would need to find some fittings which will connect the 3 gpu's together :P.

Well looking up for this. Will be able to spec later tonight. Need to message Ethel.

He knows ;)

I have made some adjustments! I'd rather see the 900D too! Since he has the budget, may as well make the most of it!

Sli or Xfire at least so he's not stuck at 1080p.

He's getting 3 new monitors!!

Just an idea as I love this case, may need more rad space though

Right no one has asked what 3 monitors he's going to get, what if there not 1080p and only a single GPU, at least 2 GPU's to cover that.

Would you want a single GPU spending that kind of money don't think so, Performance first Bling second.
