I may be going mad but...I'm positive there's a slight increase in wind/road noise coming from my drivers side door of the A4 accompanied by an intermitted but quiet tapping which stops if I lean against the door. I've tried pressing the window but it's definitely an issue with the whole door.

Back to the dealers to have the doors resealed? Although, the seals look absolutely fine - could there be another underlying issue such as door alignment?

Seems like Audi isn't the only car brand to suffer such occurrences looking around other forums. WD-40 around the seals seems like a common suggestion but not one I fancied...

Perfectly lined up. Nipped out and bought some silicone lubricant from halfrauds so will clean the seals and spray them down. Might help? Car is due to go in for some work next month so will have the door alignment and lock checked out then. Hoping it doesn't get any worse...

You haven't changed your tyres recently have you and it's tyre noise you're hearing rather than wind?

My door handle skin on the outside was rattling so might be worth checking that. 05 A4 B7 found this year to give you a idea of the wear rate.

Try using Einszett, Gummi-Pflege on the seals. It conditions the rubbers and will also stop the doors freezing shut when it turns cold. (Smells better that WD too)

Sounds more like something is loose within the door assembly rather than leaking seals which would just wind noise and maybe water leaks.
