doro phone not working

i think the model is a phoneasy 632.

my dads phone ran flat whilst he was away and was left uncharged for about a month. now when trying to get it to start all that happens is an o2 logo will flash on the screen for about a second every 15 seconds or so.
theres no response from any buttons on the phone.
i have tried removing the battery and sim but this didnt make any difference.

i think the phone is at least 5 years old so possibly the battery?

can anyone offer any advice?

Have you tried leaving it on the charger over night? If you can't get a replacement battery to test with, it most likely is dead.

yep tried that. think it might be a naff battery.
can i pick up a battery in a high street shop or do i have to order online?
