Sorry for the absolute numptyness of this question, but god bless skill fade.

Can anyone tell me the DOS command to copy the contents of one disk to another? or files and folders?

I did know it (and am sure its still in there), but have slept a lot since i last used DOS

Many thanks

xcopy for copying of whole directories and sub folders. There are a stack of options - xcopy /? will give you the help screen.

If you want to boot from the newly created file system on the second disk this way will not work your better off using something like acronnis trueimage or norton ghost to do the transfer.
