Dosa, Idli and Uttapam, anyone make their own?

Seeing as my fiancée is from South India, I've grown a taste for those three, especially Masala dosa with some coconut chutney.

I was just wondering if anyone else here shares my liking, and if/how you make your own.

There's a very nice Southern Indian restaurant in Glasgow called Dakhin that does rice pancakes of various styles. Absolutely delicious. Never have tried making them myself, which is strange because I love Indian (especially southern) cuisine. Come to think of it, I have a bag of rice flour in the cupboard as well..
