So i'm in the market for a new monitor, my current (crappy) BenQ FP92Wa is on its way out so i'm looking at getting a 120Hz 27" Samsung.
One question I have, is regarding pixel pitch/dot pitch
Current monitor: 1440x900 (19") = 0.28 dot pitch
Samsung: 1920x1080 (27") = 0.31 dot pitch
Does that (in theory) mean that the pixel density of the newer monitor is less, and will therefore potentially look less crisp and "blockier" when looking at fine text etc?
I'm sure there are lots of other factors to consider, that affect this, so if anyone could reassure me that it's not going to look blockier when I upgrade, i'd appreciate it
Thanks
