Dot-tune micro adjust?

I happened to stumble on a link on dot-tune which I had never heard of before. I found it on TP and people are referencing it as the best and fastest way to Micro adjust a lens. I was toying with reikan focal, have been for a while and people are saying this free and quicker method is matching the results they already had from micro adjusting using focal or the more traditional methods.

Has anyone actually tried this? I'm particularly interested if anyone who has previous adjusted has tested this method.

I gave it a whirl on my 17-55 and got a value of -2 quite consistently. I only did it at work under artificial light but when I'm off work will run the test again under natural light and see what it comes up with. I'm still tempted to give focal a try and compare.
