Double Agent on 8800 GTS

Hey all,

I'm trying to get Splinter Cell Double Agent working on my new 8800 GTS 320Mb.

It worked previously on my X1800XT 256Mb but when I try it on my 8800 GTS, Sam is invisible and the shadows are glitched.

I'm using the latest Nvidia drivers, all options are highest with HDR on and AA off.

When I tried no HDR and AA on x4, you could see fisher but the shadows still glitch and some lights go right through him

Anyone have a solution?

Double agent was the buggiest worst piece of **** I played in a long time.

Got the same glitches and invisible sam as you did.

I was running a 7900gto.

I would install all updates, and try every setting you can like I did. Eventually it will work

Still a awesome game though, but I have it on the 360 so don't have those probs!

I love the splinter cells, can't wait for the next!!!!!

p.s. Sorry Marky, dunno what ya prob is though?

probably runs better on ati cards because it is a 360 port which has a ati chip in it

this is one of the reasons why i am waiting for the r600 lineup to appear
before upgrading

U woulnt let that sway you.

lol no i have it on the 360 and cant get into it

in general most 360 ports run like crap on even high end nvidia cards this is a large percentage of pc releases these days so makes sense to me to get a card similar to what they were designed to run on

Hi to be honest i dont think anyone has had success with DA on 8800 cards i did not anyhow,i think there may be a half hearted attempt to get it running with tweaks if i remeber not sure.
