1st build in 4 years so I am rusty and very nervous of making an ass of it.

Corsair 600T case
Asrock X68 Gen 3 Motherboard
OCZ 850 PSU
H100 Cooler

So far I have connected the following

24pin power
8pin power
Rear case Fan - Power Fan 1
Front Fan - Chas Fan 1
2 x Rad Fans - H100 Unit
H100 - CPU Fan 1 & Connected to PSU
2 x USB 2.0 - USB Headers
HD Audio - Audio header
1394 - 1394 Header
Unknown power cable from front of case - PSU
SSD - Sata 3-0 Grey & PSU
HDD - Sata 3-1 Grey & PSU
Optical Drive - Sata 2 black & PSU

I still have the power headers to connect which I am okay with but I have the following spare as such

USB 3.0 cable from case
4 x unmarked 3-pin cables from the front of the case
1 x fixed 8 pin cable from PSU that can be split into 2 x 4
The case also comes with a USB3.0 backplate - is this worth installing ?

If someone could cast there eye over it to see if there are any basic errors with what I have done so far and where any of the spare ones should go.

Want to make sure I am okay before starting on the Graphic cards.

Thanks

All looks ok so far. A picture may be easier for people to check. Also when doing the first installation of Windows 7 (onto the SSD presumably), disconnect all mechanical drives from the motherboard.

any idea from the manual or tracing the cable where it comes from ?

are the 4 unmarked cables linked to the cases fan controller ?

if it was me i'd connect up the backplate.

all mobo stands located and screwed down ?

The Reset / Power & HDD only have an arrow marked on them - should all the writing be at the top ?

Spare fixed cable from Modular PSU

All that leaves is a USB 3.0 connection from the case

Any help would be brilliant

any idea from the manual or tracing the cable where it comes from ? - can't seen find anything was thinking it would be the front fan ?

are the 4 unmarked cables linked to the cases fan controller ? - Possibly but I don't know where to put them.

if it was me i'd connect up the backplate. - no problem

all mobo stands located and screwed down ? - They are apart from one which has no thread behind it

The 4 cables from the case are indeed for the fan controller.

I currently have the front fan hooked up to the Chassis Fan 1 connection on
the motherboard.

The rear fan is hooked up to the Power Fan 1 connection.

My 2 Radiator fans are connected to my H100.

My H100 is connected to the CPU Fan 1 on the motherboard.

What fans are best to connect to the controller ?

usually case fans if they arn't controllable via the mobo connections, or extra fans if you've used up all the mobo connectors.
