I've got the following now

Q6600 (this is struggling atm at 350 * 9 = 3.2ghz ish)
4gb ddr pc6400
P5Q pro
GTx 260 192sp

I'm think of upgrading the GTX 260 to a GTX 470 for autumn gaming season.

Also thinking of a 60gb Vertex 2E ssd as well for boot drive along another 40gb vertex 2e for the laptop.

Are SSDs backward compatible with SATA1 yeah? Should still get 150mb/s out of it
