Hey guys,

Does anyone know any decent Double Din units that run on Android? I'm looking at getting one. My price bracket is up to £300 (can stretch a bit more).

It needs to have a USB port on the front panel, and also a 'turnable' volume knob (not a clicky button).

I was interested in the XTRONS TD630A unit, until I started reading reviews - I haven't come across one good review for the XTRONS units, so they're out of the window.

Any suggestions?

I was wanting to go for Android for the customisability, and the amount of apps available on that platform.

Was going to have folder sync on so I could pull up on my drive, and auto-sync music from my network over WiFi onto the device.

It also has a lot of ODB support which I was going to have set up on the display.

I don't actually have an Android phone, I have an iPhone (just to further complicate everything, lol).

So, so far it doesn't seem good. I was really looking forward to having a decent Android based unit I could mod/customise etc and setup the way I like it.

Lemonade has pretty much described the XTRONS reviews - apparently they don't last long and have loads of issues :/

I'm actually quite surprised no one has made a decent android based head unit. I think it would sell quite well...
