Double up or Double down

I bought these 2 years ago and debating on getting another to be up to 32gb

Or should I wait for the DDR5 Ram to out?

1st option is cheaper I know but 2nd option I'll be getting a new motherboard and CPU to go with the RAM.

I'm at an impasse because 2nd option entirely depends how good DD5 will be on first release.

why would you want 32gb if your only gaming ?

Well I don't just game but it's future proofing my system.
