Doubling up

Evening all,

I have my current rig, spec is in my sig, and it currently has this dual channel kit in:

It came part of an OCUK OC'd bundle. Whilst my usual daily tasks don't use up the full 4GB or ever stress it out, i'm having to start running multiple VM's and I need to dish out a bit more RAM to them

My question is, can I just buy another set of that kit above, slap it in and hope it works ok? Will I have to adjust the voltage given to the RAM if I double up the sticks. Will it perform ok having 2 x Dual Channel kits in? Will it mess up my OC?

You will need to lower your overclock on your system before installing, but by how much I can't say, I would try a significant drop.

Edit: Sorry - Yes it will mess up your overclock.
