Ok, I have DOW:SS Activted through Steam.
Trouble is, that I seem to have hit a slight niggle.
The Niggle being that my steam account does not seem to know if I have SoulStorm installed or not, and wants to install it, itself through the internet.
This is over 5GB!
With Dawn Of War 2 also doing the same hting, this makes it well over 11GB that it wants to download.
I know that I should be able to force the use of a Disk by entering
D:\Games\Steam\Steam.exe -install z:
This obviously meaning that my games are in D:\Games\
and my steam stuff in in a folder called STEAM
and that the Drive that I am tryign to intall from is Z:
Now, this command works fine with the genuinne Steam Disks I have, such as Half Life, Half Life 2, Episode One, and they install from the disk rather than the internet, but it does not work with SoulStorm, or Dawn Of War 2
Is there any way that I can either
1 - Force Steam to use the disks
2 - Re-build an ISO to make Steam think that the disks are proper Steam Disks?
