DOW2 - Chaos Rising $5

Today? They sure are taking there time. No matter, i completed it earlier :p

Not the best of expansions tbh. Its mostly just some extra missions with ridiculous numbers of enemy units (don't see how you're supposed to manage on the higher difficulties) and your actions don't seem important in the slightest. The whole 'corruption' thing just seems so arbitrary and really doesn't influence anything but the ending video (i would assume) which makes it even worse.
 
I didn't get a refund email, I've just received emails saying that my orders were cancelled due to non-payment. :confused:

No money refunded, so I'll be majorly ****ed if they find some magical way to retract the key from Steam (even though I doubt they will).
 
Only played the forst two missions, tend to agree that it doesn't bring much more to the game. Much more of an extention than an expansion.

Its hard to say from that but you realise that all the 'corruption' stuff... most of them are completely arbitrary.

Destroying the Angel Gate or opening it? Understandable that would be corrupting, but they went on about how you wouldn't be able to defend it as easily in the future and you never returned there...
Then there was the Guardsman Fort... letting it get destroyed got you corruption because its been hit with artillery strikes. I was trying to max my corruption asap so i left it and it took AGES to get destroyed. Its also nothing to do with corruption being unable to prevent it.

Only effect corruption made appeared to be that Davian Thule would refuse to serve you and even then that had no impact on the story at all. It was stupid hearing Jonah talk about the foul corruption when he's at maximum corruption level...
