DOWII & Windows 7 !?

For some reason i just cannot install DOWII.

Ive tried installing it from the disc and from the steam game menu and both routes just get stuck.

Please help, its driving me mad !

When i installed steam for the first time, i had an error whilst it was running its first update, could this be a possible issue !? maybe it failed to instal important files or something.

Works fine here on 64 retail

Just formatted, reinstalled windows, then steam and the problem is still there ! Bah !

Maybe it is a specific device driver you used both times which is causing the problem?
