Downgrade from Corsair 800D

Just looking for some suggestions as to what to downgrade to. I have a first gen 800D that's sadly got the Sata 2 and USB 2 boards and i cant locate any upgrade kits as they are discontinued. It's actually too big for my use and too cumbersome for my limited space.

I'll be jumping on a rig upgrade in the next 2-3 months and ideally want to grab a smaller. newer but adequate case.

I'll be using an AIO cooler again with most likely a 240/280mm Rad. The case must have good air flow and ideally dust filters as my 800D hoovers up dust in the air.

So far im looking at the Corsair 450D

I have the same case and issue with the lack of usb3 kits. The other thing I’d miss is the ability to hot swap the front drives.

I’ve been watching YouTube case videos in the week and am yet to find something that ticks the boxes.

I don't hot swap drives so i don't really have a use for that ability. Just need ample room and good airflow
 
The airflow I’m the 800d is brutal.

I can’t settle on a case size. Half the time I think I should just get a NAS and get a mini-itx.
 
I love my full tower Corsair Obsidian 750D; loads of space to work with, 140mm fans throughout, modular HDD and SSD bays, and a nice simple aesthetic. I will never touch a midi tower again! :D

Massive case. Not badly priced considering. Would like USB 3.1 upfront in this day and age (I know it's not a new case). I don't think it would fit where I'd put it but still... Tempted.

Yeah, although not the biggest I've ever owned (used to have a CM Cosmos back in 2008), it's certainly a monster compared to my outgoing case! :p
