OK so I have a second PC currently running windows Vista, which I obviously want to remove.
I have tried booting from a Windows XP disk and a Windows 2k Pro disk, and get BSOD on both.
I use this as an "old games" machine and would prefer either of these two OS's (XP is what I really want on there).
Question is, how on earth can I do this given than I am getting BSOD all the time? Not sure if it is something to do with the fact it has Vista on (probably).
Also worth mentioning that it was a family members old PC which they bought "off the shelf" from the Purple place, so it was a branded machine with the built in auto recovery for vista - Having never owned a branded machine like this before I am unfamiliar with their workings.
In the old days I would have just used FDISK
Help appreciated.
