Whats a nice clean spyware free download client that supports resume? I used to use DAP but its a bit bloated these days and full of ads.

Free Download Manager

with the firefox plugin called flashgot.

Does the resume feature work well as last time i used it - the extention didn't work that well.

Does it take over the normal firefox functionality or is it like a little extension that adds resume support?

I used to use Flashget but im now playing with Getright Pro. I only switched for the client/server setup so I can send downloads to run on my HTPC during the night. It is however terribly written and buggy but im not sure there's anything better. Tempted to write my own :rolleyes:

Works for me.
It takes 5 seconds to install and use so give it a go (Downthemall).

As a note, I have been using Star Downloader and it works a treat.. I can max out my 20mb cable connection no trouble and it works on Vista/2003 Server too

Free Download Manager & Flashgot though with the above praise for Flashget i'd be tempted to try both next time round.
