I've been using reget deluxe on a trial and it used to be fine, but recently I've installed it on my microserver running server 2008 enterprise and it crashes every time I try to download a file. If I wait about 20 minutes for the redet process to close (I can't force it closed) it then opens without issue. But I am having to do this EVERY time I start a download and it's doing my head in.
I then looked around and people were recommending freedownloadmanager instead, but I get about 200k/s on a ten meg line with this so either I've not set it up right or I should look for an alternative.
Does anyone have any other suggestions? I am using easynews and downloads are on port 81 I think over a secure session.
