Download managers

What are the best download managers out there, preferably free but don't mind paying reasonable registration fees if the program is worth it.

Tried things like Gozilla and Getright previously and not really got on with either.

What OS are you running and what browser are you using?

I use the freedownloadmanager listed above. It works very well. I use Opera - but it has fantastic I.E. support.

I used to use DAP and Get Right until I started to use Firefox with the excellent free plugin called Downloadthemall.
