Hi guys,

Just driven all the way to Uni to try and download the Windows 7 RC1 ISO *again* but the Microsoft link is very slow. Started off at a whole 1.67mb/s and has gradually slowed down to about 1.19mb/s and is getting even slower.

Is it available anywhere else where I might be able to get a much better rate off it? Rather not spend my entire evening in the IT lab :p

Use a download manager to get it?

Edit: just remembered you may be stuck with the Microsoft rubbishy one..

You could try finding a mirror/torrenting it but of course can't guarantee it's clean, though it should be alright.
 
Torrents are blocked. Very annoying. Came down yesterday at 10mb/s. So thought I'd nip in and re-download it yet now it seems I'm spending my entire evening here as it just gets slower and slower :(
 
I'm guessing you won't have access to newsgroups?

edit: it's not on MSDN:AA is it? I think our Uni had local mirrors of it so the download would be very quick.

Can't see it anywhere on the web, so guess MS are quite tight on this sort of thing.
