Download speed of 5mb

Hey all!

Just upgraded my package and it says its connected at around 5000kbps.
What should my download speed be? i was imagining it would be around 500ish?
but it wont budge over 230
Any ideas why?

On orange up to 8mb with unlimited usage.

That will put you on a 4 meg profile 4.5mbs will be 5120 connection, i am on a 4 meg profile and hit 470kbs download.

Sounds like your stuck on a 2 meg profile atm give it a few days and see how it goes, i had the same problem got stuck at 2 meg speeds i phoned up my isp UKFSN and they ran me through some things to do then they put a ticket in with bt few days later it was sorted.
