Download time out?

I'm trying to download various drivers but the source server appears to be running slow. As a result, After about 10 minutes i get a timeout error message. Is there a setting for this somewhere?

dont think this is a software problem? maybe a networking problem?

What software are you using to download the drivers? is it possible you can try an alternative - mozilla firefox has a download manager with it. Can you try to download the drivers with that and see what happens?

You're not using Dell's FTP server perchance are you? It was running horrendously slow tonight.

What browser are you using? If its Firefox there is a timeout setting somewhere where Firefox will timeout after waiting x minutes or seconds or whatever the value is measure in for a page/file to load.

Also it could be the server and nothing to do with you. Changing the timeout value may have no effect.

It's a batch of drivers for a system.. It is the PB server that's slow as everything else is fine.

Using IE7.

Might just have to look for them as seperates.

It must be their end because i'm downloding something else from another site which has taken about 15 minutes so far. The PB site times out after 5 minutes or so.
