Downloadable 3D World ?

Hi

I am looking for any idea's of 3D worlds to download and explore.

Exactly like a game, but without any of the game aspect (no fighting, puzzles) - a bit like Myst or Oblivion, but completely free roaming with great landscapes.

I seem to remember a few years back a screen saver which created a randomly generated 3D world and the camera followed a woman walking through it. I can't seem to find it any more.

Has anyone come across anything like this ?

Maybe flight simulator with some scenery packs? why walk when you can fly

that's the only thing I can think of sadly.

Needs to be walking though.

I wonder if it would be possible to host a free MMOPRG but have no enemies or people in it ?

Ooh this looks interesting. So in 'discovery' mode, there are no enemies, you can just explore the world ?

That's how it used to work, without reading the website I've no idea if it's changed.
