downloading..... a lot

hi all,

now for some reason my virgin router says i've downloaded a lot., but i dont know where or what?
i dont use torrets user or news thingies or whatever their called only steam.

i only really use 4 websites
-Steam
- Youtube
- this forum
- gmail

i reset my router last night.
so activity was 0GB
in 3 hours its at 179GB

all ive done is:
- steam - downloaded 2 games (6GB each)
- youtube watched 4 videos @ 480p
- here browsed gif/image thread for 5 minutes (2 pages)
- mumble
yet 179gb?

where could it be coming from? any good download monitors you could recommed?

its a free install from 2 days ago. so doubt malware.
 
Virgin's equipment is a game of spotting faults and technical glitches which they fix and somehow it just doesn't fix and they become far worse. Put it down to Virgin's very bad equipment. Not to say the old standalone modems were bad. I loved them :) However the Superhub looks nice, but the software isn't nice. xD

Do not pay ANY attention to it. It is a known issue where it does not report the amount correctly. Just pretend it isn't there.
 
I had just turned my superhub off and rebooted and in 2 minutes of it being on I had apparently downloaded 125Mb.

Even though nothing had been downloaded. Silly.
