Downloading Acronis

Am I right in thinking that Acronis is a FREE backup utility. I just can't seem to find the free version, only the 10 day trial things.

they had a promotion where version 7 i think was free for a short period of time

its worth the money though

give the trial a shot

If I installed the trial, created the boot CD (all im going to be using this for) then just got rid of Acronis, would I be able to use the boot Cd to use the Secure Zone and DOS restores etc forever?

does the boot cd say anything upon booting?

If something does come up, I can just con my work into buying me it. I work from home a lot so I can get them to buy me it for backups.

Keep an eye on the cover dvd's on magazines, Acronis software appears on quite a few on a regular basis
