After just putting the arma II demo onto download I got thinking about back in the days of my amstrad 6128+ or whatever it was called. I'd eagerly await the next issue of amstrad action for the latest demo disk as I couldn't really afford to buy many games.

Anyway, back on topic, what demos would you suggest I download in the hopes of getting addicted to a game. With PC gaming recently i've only gone with reviews for what to buy. However so many reviews are biased these days the games that are supposed to be great are utter rubbish.

Oh yeah, should mention, just start me off with steam demos as I can leave these downloading easy enough while i'm off to work.

don't think it's a sequel in that you need to have played the first one to get the 2nd. The 2nd one appears to have improved on the little things that annoyed in the first such as the lack of an on-screen map and occasionally dodgy camera angles and AI pathfinding.
The voice acting is spot on, think Black & White or Fable in terms of quality/humour. Controls are great especially on the 360 pad.
