Downloading games via the oculus store.

Does anyone else have a constant issue where you'll download a game on the oculus store only to be told that your antivirus won't allow the install? I've tried disabling my antivirus and restarting the oculus app but it always results in me having to download the game again!

Anyone got a work around?

I had this issue, and I had to contact Oculus support, as you may need to uninstall the client and delete some config files that may be left behind. Be warned though that some Oculus games store game saves in the game folder, so you can lose saves if you don't back them up before uninstalling.

Stress, it's done it before but it always just sorts it self out...until now, think I've downloaded contractors four times over these past two days because of it!

Did you have to re install all your games too?

Tried it bud, sometimes happens once it's fully downloaded and then tries to install

If you uninstall the Oculus Client it deletes all your installed oculus games, so you have to reinstall them.
Another thing to try is setting up a second install folder, and try that.

I'll give that a shot tonight, wouldn't be too fussed but my internet is rubbish, hopefully it'll be done by time I wake up!

So I went to reinstall oculus after realising I could back up my library. It gave me the option first to repair oculus, I tried that and it seemed to have worked...didn't even have to re download contractors before installing!
